In 2007 the Bergschenhoek Group has concluded with the shareholders of the KWT Holding BV to integrate the water control product activities of Bergschenhoek Civiele Techniek BV (BCT) with KWT's. The integration has been realised by taking over the shares of the KWT Holding BV by the Bergschenhoek Group. The production- and assembly facility of BCT has been transferred to the production facility of KWT in Biddinghuizen. The integrated companies will be lead by the present technical director Mr. H.A. Boers and commercial director Mr. J.M.R. den Hertog of KWT. Projects and products for the European and Middle-East markets will be continued under the KWT-brand.
The Asian projects and products will be continued under the ROwat-brand through the Malaysian joint-venture. Beside these markets other markets will also be prospected.
Both companies are leading in their markets and are complementary to each other in all relevant areas. By joining forces a specialised company is formed with skilled people, enough importance and improved reactionforce to serve their customers both in The Netherlands as in other countries in the world. This allows the company to grow in different markets especially abroad in the coming years.
